Thank you to everyone involved!

For our Spring Artisan Market and Garage Sale – Thank yous go out to the following:
Our Magnolia board members, and Concession Staff, All our Vendors, Customers & Volunteers

Some of those that took part:
Anita Semple, Ken Crozier, Chris Giezen, Valerie Peden, Annabelle Hoople, Pat Ruttle, Bette Strangway, Diann Benz, Lesley Madden, Dave Ruttle, Gail Mansfield, John Semple, Brad Danyluk, Sherrill Thompson

(See more detailed list, below.)

To Anita, our “Table Bookee”: A huge thank you from everyone for all that you did in the planning – from beginning to end – you have been instrumental to the success of our Spring 2017 Artisan Market and Garage Sale!

And here, a note from Anita Semple: So many people behind the scenes need to be recognized. The Board, for allowing us to host this event; Ken Crozier our new President, for ensuring our facility was ready to use, lighting, fans etc., putting out the signs, getting all the tables from the shed and carrying them in and out at the end and helping people move in and move out. Brad Danyluk for ensuring the parking situation was managed for tailgaters and customers as well as moving people in and out plus moving tables out and cleanup. Chris Giezen for being our board member sponsor, chairing our meetings and ensuring we had what we needed, as well as ensuring we were well placed within the community newsletters and buy and sell sites to advertise our market, making delicious chilli to help warm our bellies, and of course keeping the books straight. Valerie Peden our concession leader setting up display cases, making posters for inside the hall, doing the shopping and organizing of a fantastic volunteer team, who also sold the 50/50 tickets with gusto and made those famous hotdogs and, not to forget, set-up and cleaned up the hall which we had completed in 45 minutes. Wow! Lesley Madden, a new board member who was so great in helping set up all the tables and chairs and pitched in along the way to ensure we were ready. Of course Sherrill Thompson for her posters and marketing for our vendors as well taking pictures of the event, which will be posted on the Magnolia FB page in the future, and Gail Mansfield for her efforts and support in the setup of the hall. Pat Ruttle for taking so many of our posters and getting them out into public view and helping with the sale of 50/50 tickets and just ensuring any of our questions were figured out. Dave Ruttle and John Semple for also being tailgate police and helping move vendors in and during the move out. The concession staff working with Valerie were also incredible: Annabelle Hoople, Diann Benz and Bette Strangway! All the vendors that used their Facebook sites and printed and put up posters in their communities as well as setting up and closing down during the set times and making your tables look great, respecting the hall, vendors, customers and our volunteers! It takes a nation to create a community event and we had a nation! Hope to see many of you this fall, October 21st for our next event.
